Common uses

This medication contains a topical antifungal drug. Typically, it is used for fungal infections of the vagina. It produces its action on its first day of use.

How to use this medication

This medication is to be used vaginally. As this product may leak and stain your underwear, you are advised to wear a sanitary napkin during the treatment. Use the product for the prescribed period of time and follow the directions for use included in the package.

When applying this product, you may feel a slight irritation at first. If the irritation becomes severe or continues longer than a few minutes, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

WARNING: This product can reduce the effectiveness of some methods of contraception (e.g.: condoms, diaphragms) during treatment and for 72 hours after it is completed.

This medication is typically used as a single application. Generally, it is used as a single treatment.

Possible side effects

In addition to its desired action, this medication may cause some side effects, notably:

• your sexual partner may experience an itching sensation;
• when used, it may cause a temporary burning sensation.

Storage information
